Most common cow diseases/treatment

Ringworm - ringworm is a a very common disease.  It starts to appear with lumps round their eyes causing bold batches,  they loose there hair from where the lumps are.  This has been a problem with my 2 calves.

Treatment - Imaverol this can be treated by spraying the solution round the areas that show signs of ringworm. This has to be done twice a day.

Scours - is a most common cause of death in young calves.  It is very avoidable by good management of stock.  Routine fluid therapy is the most important line of treatment aimed at correcting dehydration.

Bloat: bloat is all due to managing your stock and putting them on to much rich pasture.
